1. Experienced, qualified, properly licensed, certified financial advisors.
2. Inexperienced financial advisors who are just starting out.
3. Unqualified advisors who present fake credentials, make use of self conferred titles, and use non-financial credentials inappropriately.

Qualified Advisors: The StarRating calculation formula is specifically designed to reward financial advisors who have worked hard to achieve a level of respectability and professionalism in the financial services industry by properly educating themselves, by maintaining the proper licenses, by affiliating and networking with respectable financial organizations and by giving good financial advice.

A Certified Financial Planner© (CFP©), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) or similarly credentialed advisor who is properly licensed, has a clean background, is experienced and is well rounded in other areas; will have an excellent StarRating that will likely be Four or Five Stars.

New Advisors:  Inexperienced financial advisors who are just beginning their career can use the StarRating system from AdvisorRating.com as a guide in order to become a well rounded and qualified financial advisor.

Fraudulent Advisors:  The AdvisorRating.com service is specifically designed to weed out inferior and illegitimate advisors who are using fake financial credentials to puff up their resume′ and then in turn use these credentials to sell inappropriate and/or fraudulent financial products to unsuspecting and uninformed investors.
